The seeds produced are high-tech seed with a high germination rate and high germination vigor:

  • Harvesting is done by deseeding in the field,

  • The specific flax seed mill ensures optimal sorting and packaging,

  • The seeds are analyzed at different stages and certified by the GNIS, state certification organisation,

  • An adapted storage in order to compensate for an insufficient harvest, to ensure the continuity of supply.

Terre de Lin is breeder of flax and linseed varieties. The first research work was initiated in the 1960s. Today, its varieties occupy 50% of cultivated areas in Europe.

    • The spring flax varieties are the heart of Terre de lin's breeding . In parallel , Limagrain cooperative also trusted us to multiply and sell its own varieties.

    • Terre de lin and Limagrain varieties represent 80% of the varieties multiplied in France. ARAMIS, ARETHA, ALIZEE, DRAKKAR and EDEN are the most cultivated varieties in France. The varieties of our catalog are recognized by all the farmers for their performance in terms of yield and natural resistance to disease and lodging.

  • Winter flax varieties

    • Terre de Lin was the first to develop winter flax varieties. They respond to the problems of agricultural works schedule and are particularly adapted to droughty soils of southern Eure and Calvados areas.

    • TERRE DE LIN is also linseed varieties breeder. The selection is based on oil and Omega 3 high content.
